Making A Difference.

A very effective advertisement caught my attention a few days back. A candidate applies for a job in certain foreign country, while being interviewed he was asked that when can he reach the workplace. He mentioned the date but on that very day elections were supposed to be held. When he was asked about his vote, he said, "One vote will not make any difference". The interviewer replied, "When you cannot make a difference to your own country, how would you make a difference to ours". This sentence bound me to ponder upon. I asked myself , "Out of such a large population, how many of them think like this gentleman?" If everyone starts thinking the same, how would our country get a deserving leader? Our electoral system believes in the power of majority, but what would be the value of that majority when majority of our county's population doesn't come forward to cast their votes?
