AN ANGEL ON EARTH

God is great!! HE has formulated the universe in such a way that everyone requires a shelter to get covered, to feel secured, to take guidance etc. Be it a living thing or a non-living thing, a cover is required. For example; four walls when covered by roof is called house. For each and every person a thing a roof has been created before its birth.

Far beyond the seven skies one day GOD decided to send one soul on earth. The soul nervously asked,” Dear God, I have many angles here to look after, If I go down I will be alone and no one is there to take my care. I don’t know anyone there, who will help me there? Who will provide me with my necessities?” God politely answered, “Dear soul, Don’t you trust me. Few years back I already sent an angle for you who will cater to all your needs. Do not worry and be relaxed.”

God continued, “The angle will keep you in her womb for nine months and when you will be born she will get a new life. She will smile on your laugh; she will weep for a single tear in your eyes. She will provide you the best nourishment, for you all good things she will gather, she will be called your Mother.”

The soul is born. From his mother’s womb it has entered and taken place on her laps.

A mother does all possible things to make her child smile. A mother keeps her hand on her child’s head so that all best wishes in the world come to him. She undergoes all pain to see her child smiling; she can work for hours and hours to make her child happy. For her child she becomes a maid, for her child she becomes a teacher, for her child she becomes a chef, for her child she becomes a friend and for her child she becomes an inspiration.

Howsoever harsh the world becomes, the child will always be satisfied in her mother’s lap. Howsoever tough the life be, a child will always win with her mother’s piece of advice. Howsoever unbearable the pain be , a mother has the remedy to relieve it.

A mother takes all the necessary steps to give her child a better life. She imbibes the good values in him. She educates her child and makes him capable to face the world.

A mother is a shelter, a mother is a support, a mother is a mentor, a mother is life.

 A mother’s worth cannot be pen down in a few words. The GOD rightly said, she is truly an angel on earth.
